Project
We delivered an engaging scrolling narrative with user-controlled animations that visually highlight key insights from Publicis Sapient’s Digital Life Index survey. This experience translates complex data from 9,300 global respondents into interactive, easy-to-navigate visuals, emphasizing trends in digital adoption across retail, health, and financial services. My Contributions
As part of the Periscopic design team, I designed multiple sections, created keyframes and assets, and coordinated with the project animator to bring the scrollytelling experience to life. I was part of developing the overall narrative and data presentation methods, ensuring the data was visually compelling. I also helped determine the UX/UI elements, created conceptual sketches, and produced visual design compositions.
We transformed complex survey data into a responsive scrolling narrative with animated charts, simplifying key insights and presenting them in clear, everyday language.
Elevating Simplicity with Charm
The aim was to distill the comprehensive report into key takeaways and insights, offering users a glimpse of its value through engaging visuals. We embraced simplicity, abstracting the data to make it more digestible while still informative. I played a key role in shaping the visual theme, ensuring each section was both clear and captivating, and delivering multiple sets of comps and refined keyframes to coordinate with the motion graphics team.
To keep users engaged, we incorporated playful interactions—like stylized annotations and bold, 3D shapes that popped with color and energy. I also curated a consistent set of icons that bridged both straightforward and abstract concepts, tying everything together with a cohesive, polished look.
